August 7 – The Turkish SuperLig has updated its brand image and visual identity ahead of the new season. A few days before the kick-off of the new campaign, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) unveiled a new Super Lig logo, a new trophy and a new motto.
“The new logo of Trendyol Super League symbolises victory and football played wholeheartedly. The upper part of the logo represents sharing your joy with the fans with open arms, while the lower part represents fighting with all your heart until the last second. It is expected that Trendyol Super Lig teams, all fans and stakeholders will come together and unite under the same values and a common goal under this logo, and make this beautiful game even more beautiful within fair play,” said TFF in a statement.
The rebranding took place after a federation consultation with club presidents, managers, marketing departments, broadcasters, sponsors and other stakeholders. The TFF said the new Trendyol Super Lig logo was decided on having evaluation the brand identities of the top leagues in Europe and UEFA’s tournaments.
“Turkish football is advancing rapidly towards the goal of becoming one of the leading leagues of Europe with its dynamic structure and increasing audience every single day. Concrete steps are being taken with innovative approaches accompanied by the vision of transforming Trendyol Super Lig into a brand that is followed closely not only in Turkey but also internationally,” said the TFF.
The Super Lig currently ranks as the 6th most valuable league in Europe.
As well as a new logo, the Super Lig trophy has been renewed with all the names of the teams in the top tier of Turkish football to be engraved on the new cup.
