After completing the capture of Dani Olmo, FC Barcelona are now set to face a crucial period, as they race ahead to try and register the Spanish international.
That could involve the departure of multiple existing stars, with the likes of Ferran Torres and Raphinha emerging as potential candidates.
Barcelona aiming Lenglet exit
Another strong candidate to depart Catalonia is Clement Lenglet. Despite his recent prominence in the pre-season, Barça are actively looking for a suitor for the Frenchman, reports Diario SPORT.
Lenglet has indeed been one of the protagonists in Barcelona’s preseason so far, notably playing an hour in Barça’s recent friendly with AC Milan.
However, his recent game-time does not change the fact that Barcelona are actively looking for a suitor for the defender.

Lenglet is not a part of Barça’s long-term project, as the club already have way too many options in central defensive positions. The long-term injury of Ronald Araujo also does not change the club’s plans.
Not to mention, keeping hold of the former Sevilla star could prove to be a costly affair as the costs of his salary and amortisation for the season could easily reach the €19 million mark.
Barcelona have no desire to pay such astounding fees and are desperate to offload the Frenchman, as they look to make space in the wage bill.
Atletico Madrid were recently linked with a move for the Frenchman, but the Spanish giants refused to follow through with an offer due to the defender’s high salary demands.
With time running out, it will be interesting to see whether or not Barcelona find any suitor for Clement Lenglet this summer.
