The player is currently with the Liverpool squad on their preseason tour of the United States.
However, he could be sold soon by the club for a considerable fee as the new manager has decided to cash in on him.

Carvalho was signed by Klopp in the summer of 2022 but he has struggled at Anfield since joining the club and now his future lies away from the Merseyside club.
When he joined the club, Klopp had high hopes from him. The former Liverpool manager told the club’s website:
“What a talent he is, hey? A player who can bring a stadium to its feet. He puts his personality into his performances, he is confident and adventurous with the ball, and he wants to make things happen.”

Carvalho has impressed on the team’s preseason tour as the youngster scored for the Reds in their 2-1 win against Arsenal.
Slot knows that the player is far down the pecking order at the club and it is better to let him leave than to just keep him as a benchwarmer.
