Clement Lenglet is one of the few Barcelona players likely to be offloaded this summer, even with Hansi Flick’s desire to assess each and every player during pre-season.
The Frenchman has spent the last two seasons on loan, with a season-long loan deal at Aston Villa being his most recent spell.
Lenglet, though, does not appear to have any prospects in the Barcelona first-team and with his contract not expiring until 2026, the club are desperate to offload him in the summer.
The former Sevilla centre-back, though, has endured a hard time finding a new club, particularly due to his wage demands and a rapid downfall in the past few years.
This even led Barcelona to reportedly consider terminating the contract of Lenglet, but if recent reports are anything to go by, it appears Barça might have finally found a solution for the Frenchman.

Besiktas interested in Lenglet
According to Takvim (h/t Diario SPORT), Besiktas are interested in the services of Clement Lenglet this summer.
The club are ready to assume a large part of the Frenchman’s salary or might even sign him permanently if he is available on a free transfer.
This could play into the hands of Barcelona, as their priority is to save Lenglet’s salary, more than anything else.
It remains to be seen whether Lenglet himself will be interested in a move to Besiktas. But he has indicated in the past that he wants a project in Europe and a move to Turkey, to that end, could prove to be enticing.
Apart from Besiktas, AC Milan, too, have expressed the desire to sign Lenglet, though the Italian outfit can only assume a small part of the defender’s salary.
The coming days, therefore, will be important as Barça look to convince Lenglet to leave Catalonia.
